| As always a busy weekend lies ahead of me. What happened to the days of looking forward to the weekend to rest and relax. I miss those days. What's more, I'm not sure my kids have ever experienced those days. Makes you really wonder if it is worth it all in the long run. At least I will be with my family for the most part rather than separate for the 50+ hours during the week. To top it all off it is a church work day! Yippee! Hope the church comes out and it's not just the Pastor's work day. We have some great new disciples that I'm sure will be there as they are doing great in their walk with the Lord. Hopefully I'll get the opportunity to report on all this later. Have a good weekend! |

| What a good week. Started off okay, felt overwhelmed, then God just started answering prayers right and left. My mom really came through with a money gift to us that we did not expect. That allowed us to pay our mortgage and have some food to eat. My family had a pretty good week as well. We're still praying for our job situation, but if God answers affirmatively these requests, I know that He will come through for us on this other one...whatever that may be.

Trusting God to hear something about the direction of our new ministry for this year in 2006. We've preached two Sundays at this church pictured above. We have one more Sunday there. After that we're not sure what is going to happen. It would be nice if they feel led to hire us on there, but not for sure.
Pray for us this week. |

Happy New Year!
My family and I spent the first Sunday of 2006 at Fresno Trinity Church of the Nazarene. It was a very enjoyable experience and the folks there were very welcoming. They really made us feel at home, even though they didn't know I was there to preach.
It was really great feeling like a visitor when you arrive, but feeling like part of the family as you walk through the door. What a great experience to start the New Year. It will be interesting to see what God does with us this year. |
